How to Play the Expanded Form Game
This game is designed to help you practice writing in expanded form.
Here’s how to play:

1. Biggest Number: Enter the maximum number that you want to practice.
   
2. Timed Option: Check the timer if you want to enable the 60 second timer. Click “Start Game”.
   
3. Look at the Problem: Yow will be given one number. Expand the number.
   
4. Enter Your Answer: Enter in the result.
   
5. Check Your Work: Click the Check button (or press the Enter key). The game will tell you if you’re correct. If you are wrong, you will be shown the correct answer.
   
6. Get a New Problem: Click the Next button for a new problem.
   Your score is tracked at the top, showing how many you’ve gotten right out of the total you’ve tried.
   
7. Back to Menu Click “Back to Menu” to restart the game.
    
   

Expanded Form
Expanded form is a way to write a number to show the value of each digit, representing it as a sum of its place values, such as 433 = 400 + 30 + 3. How to Write a Number in Expanded Form
Identify the place value of each digit: Determine whether a digit is in the ones, tens, hundreds, thousands place, and so on.
Determine the value of each digit: Multiply the digit by its place value. For example, the digit 4 in the hundreds place has a value of 400.
Write the number as a sum: Add the values of each digit together.

846 = 800 + 40 + 6
3,465 = 3,000 + 400 + 60 + 5
