How to Play the Skip-Counting Game
The game is designed to help you practice your skip-counting skills in a fun environment.
Here’s how to play:

  1. Skip Count By: Enter a number to practice skip counting and click “Start Game”.
  2. Fill in the Blanks Look at the sequence and fill in the blanks to complete the sequence.
  3. Check Your Work: Click the Check button. The game will tell you if you’re correct. If you are wrong, you will be shown the correct answer.
  4. Get a New Problem: Click the Next button for a new problem.
    Your score is tracked at the top, showing how many you’ve gotten right out of the total you’ve tried.
  5. Back to Menu Click “Back to Menu” to restart the game.
     

How to skip count

  1. Understand the “skip by” number: This is the number you add each time you count. If you are skip counting by 5s, you will add 5 to the previous number to get the next one.
  2. Start at a number: You can start at any number, but most people begin with the number they are skip counting by. For example, to skip count by 10s, you start with 10. In this game, you can start with one of the given numbers and add or subtract to fill in the blanks.
