How to Play & Complete: The ‘F’ Sound Challenge!
Welcome to the ‘F’ Sound Challenge, Explorer! Today, your ears are your superpowers. We are going to track down the letter f by listening closely to the sound it makes: /f/ /f/ /f/ (like a gentle fan blowing air).
Here is how you can ace both parts of your mission sheet:
Part 1: The Sound Radar
Look at the pictures in the grid. Say each word out loud and listen to where the /f/ sound is hiding.
Is it at the START? If you hear the /f/ sound right when you open your mouth (like in F-F-F-FISH), color or check the START box!
Is it at the END? If the sound pops up right at the very end of the word (like in GIRAFFE-F-F), color or check the END box!
Part 2: Trace and Clone
Now it’s time to practice your master writing skills.
Look at the picture clue (like the hot fire! 🔥).
Grab your favorite pencil and carefully trace over the dotted letter f to complete the secret word.
Move your pencil over to the empty line next to it, and try to write the whole word yourself like a true writing pro!
