This Area of Parallelogram Game is a great way to put your skills to the test in a fun environment. By practicing, you’ll start to work out the answers efficiently.
Area of Parallelogram Game
The area (A) of any parallelogram is determined by its base (b) and its corresponding height (h). A = b × h. The height is the perpendicular distance between the base and the opposite side. The height is NOT the length of the slanted side. Scroll down the page for a more detailed explanation.

How to Play the Area of Parallelogram Game
In this game, you need to find the area or perimeter of a parallelogram.
Here’s how to play:
How to Find the Perimeter of Parallelogram
Finding the perimeter of any shape just means finding the distance around its boundary.
A parallelogram has four sides, where the opposite sides are always equal in length. If we call the length of one side a and the length of the adjacent side b, the perimeter (P) is the sum of all four sides:
P = a + b + a + b
This simplifies to the standard formula:
P = 2(a + b)
How to Find the Area of Parallelogram
The area (A) of any parallelogram is determined by its base (b) and its corresponding height (h).
A = b × h
Where:
b (Base): The length of any one side of the parallelogram.
h (Height): The perpendicular distance between the base and the opposite side. Crucially, the height is NOT the length of the slanted side.
The video gives a clear, step-by-step approach to calculate the area and perimeter of a parallelogram.
