Area of Rectangle Game
Area is a measure of the space an object takes up. A rectangle’s area can be obtained by using the equation A = ℓ × w where l is the length and w is the width. Scroll down the page for a more detailed explanation.
In this game, you may select “Find Area of Rectangle” or “Find Missing Side” or “Mixed Questions”. If you give a wrong answer, the game will provide the correct answer.

How to Play the Area of Rectangle Game
In the game, you need to find the area of a rectangle or the length of a missing side when given the area.
Here’s how to play:
How to Find the Area of Rectangle
The area of a rectangle is the measure of the two-dimensional space it covers. It is measured in square units (e.g., m2, cm2).
The Formula
To find the area (A) of a rectangle, you multiply its length (l) by its width (w).
A = l × w
Where:
A is the Area.
l is the Length (the longer side).
w is the Width (the shorter side).
How to Find a Missing Side Given the Area
If we know the total Area (A) and one side (let’s say the Length, l), we can rearrange the formula using division to solve for the missing side (Width, w).
We can divide the Area by the known side to find the unknown side.
\( w = \frac{A}{l} \)
or
\( l = \frac{A}{w} \)
The video gives a clear, step-by-step approach to calculate the area of a rectangle.
