How to play the Ten and More Worksheet/Game

  1. Listen
When the game starts (or when you click the Purple Speaker Button), the game will speak a phrase like:“Ten and four more is…"

  2. Look at the Equation
On the screen, you will see a math sentence that matches what you heard:
    10 + 4 = ?
The 10 represents one full set (a ten-rod).
The 4 is the “some more” (the ones).

  3. Type Your Answer
Click in the box and type the total number.
Hint: When you have “Ten and Four more,” you just put the 4 in the ones place of the number 10 to make 14.

  4. Check
Click the Green Check Button (or press Enter).
If you are correct: The screen will glow green, and the game will read the full sentence back to you: “Ten and four more is fourteen."
If you are incorrect: The card will shake, and the game will ask you to listen again.
