As the king’s new alchemist, you must combine cards to create new cards with higher number values than otherwise available. Achieve your magnum opus by stacking cards up to rank 26. The game plays directly on your browser or mobile.

The deck is a standard 52-card deck with 13 ranks and 4 suits.

Cards in the tableau stack by adjacent rank and unlike suit. Such stacks of any size can be moved as a unit. (e.g. 3♠️–4♣️–3♥️–2♣️ can be placed on the 4♦️)

The triangle can be used to combine cards. Place 2 cards in the bottom slots, and you’ll get their combination in the top slot. A combined card can’t be combined again.
Combined cards have a wild suit, which means its suit is ignored by the stacking rule.

The circled slot is the foundation. To win the game, you must pile cards from 1 to 26 in the foundation, regardless of suit.

Shortcut notes: After selecting a stack, you may right-click / long-press another tableau column to stack in reverse order. This shortcuts moving those cards one by one.
Double-clicking a card will send it to the foundation.
A selected stack of cards may be sent to the foundation in one move, if the cards would fit in when moved one by one.

New Game:
Starts a new game with a new shuffled deck.

Tips:

• Try to arrange your cards into a few long stacks, which can be split to give access to the cards you need. For example, you may have one stack for low cards (1~5), for mid cards (5~9), and for high cards (9~13). These stacks don’t have to perfectly contain these ranges.
  
• Note that you may temporarily use one of the triangle’s inputs as a free cell. If you use the triangle to combine two cards and leave the output in its slot, both inputs may be used as free cells.
  
• The stacking rule implies that even and odd cards must alternate, so if your accessible cards contain too many of one versus the other, you may find your cards difficult to manage. Note that the deck starts with more odd cards than even cards.
  
• Uncombined cards are valuable, because combined cards can’t be combined again. Avoid sending too many uncombined cards to the foundation.
• Have a plan for how you’re going to combine cards, as it’s easy to get stuck. For example, 26 must be made by 13+13, likewise 25=13+12, which means you can’t use more than one 13 in other combinations.
  
• One simple plan is to combine cards of either equal rank or of rank differing by 1, as demonstrated in the gameplay example video. This will leave you with exactly one 13 card left over. However, feel free to experiment and come up with your own!
  
• Note that combined cards can also be used in the tableau, which can sometimes get you out of tough spots. For example, making a 14 out of 7+7 could be useful; it gets rid of two odd cards, and allows you to stack troublesome 13s on either side.
• If you must combine cards that don’t follow your plan, it’s easiest to improvise by combining cards from 26 downward. You can stack those cards in a column before they can be put on the foundation.
