A solitaire inspired by a classic riddle. Can you get all the cards across the river safely?

 

How to play Foxes, Rabbits, and Carrots Solitaire?

The deck has 39 cards: 13 ranks in each of 3 special suits: Foxes, Rabbits, and Carrots.

Cards stack by decreasing rank (gaps allowed) and unlike suit. Such stacks of any size can be moved as a unit. (e.g. 11🐰–7🦊–5🐰–4🥕 can be placed on 12🦊)

You may only pick up card stacks from the side of the river you’re currently on. The boat indicates the side you’re on. When you move a card stack across the river, the boat will also move across.

You lose if there are ever ≥2 more Foxes than Rabbits, and ≥1 Rabbit, on one side of the river!

You lose if there are ever ≥2 more Rabbits than Carrots, and ≥1 Carrot, on one side of the river!

To win the game, move all cards to the right side of the river safely.

New Game:
Starts a new game with a new shuffled deck.

Reset:
Rewinds you back to the beginning of the current game.

Undo:
Undo the last move.

Settings:
Allow undo/reset. Card Style: Numbers or Traditional
