Farm Solitaire Game

Practice integer addition by planting and harvesting vegetables, but be careful, each kind of crop has its own unique needs to grow! The game plays directly on your browser or mobile.

 

How to play Farm Solitaire?

The deck is a special 48-card deck. There are 4 suits representing types of crops, and each suit has:
1 copy each of ranks −3 and +3
2 copies each of ranks −2 through +2

Cards stack in the tableau by descending rank and unlike suit. Such stacks of any size can be moved as a unit. (e.g. +1🍈,0🍆,−1🍈,−2🫐 can be placed on +2🌽).

The free cell on the top-left may store a single card of any kind.

The farm consists of 9 plots in a 3×3 grid. Each plot may hold 1 card. Cards may not be removed from plots until harvested.

You may harvest cards if they form a group that satisfies these conditions:
The group must be of the same suit, and its ranks must have a sum of 0. (Changing the Ranks option in Settings will change how this rule is computed, so you may pick an option with the math you’re most comfortable with, or which you want to practice.)
The group must be arranged in a certain shape, depending on its suit:
🍈 Melon: 4 contiguous plots in a 2×2 square.
🌽 Corn: 2 or 3 contiguous plots in a vertical rectangle.
🫐 Blueberry: 2 non-contiguous plots. (Diagonals are allowed.)
🍆 Eggplant: 3 contiguous plots in an L shape. Rotations are allowed.

To harvest cards, select all the cards in the farm that form a valid group, then click on the market. The ❌ button deselects all cards.

To win the game, you must harvest all the cards.

New Game:
Starts a new game with a new shuffled deck.

Reset:
Rewinds you back to the beginning of the current game.

Undo:
Undo the last move.
