Double-Sided Solitaire Game

A unique solitaire, using special double-faced cards. Small, simple, yet surprisingly challenging.

The deck is a special deck with 25 double-faced cards. Each card has two faces, one white and one black. Each face has a rank from 1~5, denoted by the larger uncircled numeral. The smaller circled numeral shows the rank on the other face. There is one card for each possible combination of ranks for the two faces.

Cards stack by descending rank and alternating color. Such stacks of any size can be moved as a unit. An empty column may be filled by any card or stack.

NOTE: To move cards, click to select a card or stack, then click the destination. “Drag and drop” is not required.

Select an exposed card, then press the ↩️ button to flip it over to the other face. You may also right-click / long-press a card to do so.

To win the game, sort all cards into 5 stacks of 5 cards each, all of descending rank and alternating color.

Tips/Hints
Take special note of the cards with the same rank on both faces.

• They must end up in the “layer” of cards corresponding to their ranks. e.g. The 5/5 must eventually be placed at the back of a column.
• They can sometimes be helpful for accommodating cards of the “wrong color”. e.g. You can’t stack a white 2 on a white 3, but if you have another stack with black 3 – white 2/2, you can flip the 2/2 to black, stack it on the white 3, then stack the white 2 on the black 3. If there happens to be a black 1 on the 2/2, you may need to move it onto the other white 2 first.

New Game:
Starts a new game with a new shuffled deck.

Reset:
Rewinds you back to the beginning of the current game.

Undo:
Undo the last move.

Settings:
Allow undo/reset.
