Sides & Corners Worksheet/Game
Welcome to Sides & Corners Worksheet/Game. This game requires you to find out the number of corners and sides of a 2-D shape. The shapes given are: square, triangle, pentagon, hexagon, rhombus, parallelogram, trapezoid. Scroll down the page for a more detailed explanation.

  1. Start the Mission
Click the “Start Mission” button on the main menu to begin. The game will automatically generate your first shape.

  2. Identify the Shape
A shape will appear in the center of the “Shape Container.” Look at it closely!
The game will tell you the name of the shape (e.g., Triangle, Pentagon, or Trapezoid).
Listen for the voice or read the question at the bottom.

  3. Check the Target Property
The question will ask for one of two things:
Sides: The straight lines that make up the outline of the shape.
Corners: The points (vertices) where two sides meet.

  4. Choose Your Answer
Below the shape, you will see four numbered buttons.
Tap the number that matches the amount of sides or corners requested.
If you are correct: The button turns green, the game speaks the answer, and your score increases.
If you are wrong: The button will fade out, and you can try again until you find the right answer.

  5. Keep Winning
After a correct answer, the shape will shrink away, and a new one will appear. Try to get the highest score possible! You can always click “Exit” at the top right to return to the main menu.
