Welcome to the Ratio Word Problems Challenge! In this educational game, you are in charge of a bustling market stand, where your job is to keep inventory perfectly balanced. As fresh deliveries arrive, you are tasked with analyzing the quantities of different fruits and logging their exact proportions. It is a fast-paced way to sharpen your proportional reasoning, helping you master how to identify relationships between quantities and express them cleanly. How to Play

Set Your Parameters:
On the main menu, you can customize your gameplay.
Toggle the Audio Engine Cues for sound effects and choose whether you want to test your speed with the 60-Second Speed Run or practice at your own pace with untimed play.
Analyze the Stock Log:
Once you open the counter, you will see a randomized scenario describing a fruit basket, delivery box, or market display. Read the total quantities listed for three different types of fruit.
Identify the Target Fruits:
Look closely at the highlighted prompt. It will ask you to find the ratio of one specific fruit to another (for example, apples to blueberries). Order matters, so make sure your left and right quantities match the requested sequence.
Simplify the Numbers:
Do not just enter the raw numbers from the text. To successfully lock in your report, you must reduce the ratio to its simplest form. Find the greatest common factor (GCF) of both numbers and divide each side by it.
For example, if there are 40 apples and 30 bananas, the raw ratio is 40:30, which simplifies to 4:3.
Log the Balance:
Type the simplified numbers into the A (left) and B (right) input fields and click Log Balance (or hit Enter for a faster workflow).
Learn from Discrepancies:
If your calculation misses the mark, the game will pause your timer and pull up an interactive Scale Discrepancy overlay. It breaks down the math, showing you the original numbers and how they reduce, allowing you to sync your system and jump right back in.
Complete the Shift:
Each correct entry earns you 10 points. If the timer is on, answer as many as you can before the 60 seconds run out to secure your spot as the ultimate market analyst.
