Ordering Numbers Worksheets

In these Second Grade math worksheets, students practice how to order 3-digit numbers or numbers less than 1000. How to order numbers less than 1000 from the smallest to the largest?

  • Start by ordering the 1-digit numbers and then the 2-digit numbers.
  • For the 3-digit numbers, start by ordering the digits in the hundreds place. If the digits in the hundreds place are the same then compare the digits in the tens place. If the digits in the tens place are the same then compare the digits in the ones place.
