Objective:

  • I know how to multiply the multiples of 10, 100, and 1000.

To multiply the multiples of 10, 100, 1000, we can multiply the non-zero part of the numbers and then we add on the same number of zeros as in the factors.
For example,
60 x 400 = 6 x 10 x 4 x 100 = 24000
