This game explicitly highlights the structural nature of histograms—where bars touch to represent continuous numerical intervals [a, b).
The game develops statistical reasoning across three core dimensions:
Direct Data Extraction: Reading bar heights accurately relative to scaled frequency axes and mapping them to continuous interval bounds.
Additive & Cumulative Reasoning: Combining frequencies across multiple bins to evaluate threshold conditions (e.g., items measuring at least 50) and calculating total population size (\(N = \sum f\)).
Central Tendency in Grouped Data: Identifying the modal class (the interval containing the highest frequency peak) and finding the median interval by accumulating frequencies from left to right until reaching the \(\frac{N + 1}{2}\) position.
