Put your hand right in front of your lips and say the word out loud! To make the true /h/ sound, your mouth shouldn’t make a loud pop or hum. Instead, you should feel a soft, unvoiced puff of warm air hit your hand (just like a tired sigh).

Or did you hear a completely different consonant sound like a crunch, a bounce, or a quiet shushing sound?

Step 3: Make Your Case Choice
