How to Play Fry Third 100 Sight Words Game
This application is designed with two distinct modes to help young readers transition from visual recognition to auditory testing.

The Third 100 words are:

Welcome to the Sight Words Academy! This educational web tool features two distinct learning environments tailored to build confidence, recognize patterns, and boost reading speed.

Mode 1: Flashcards (Learning Phase)
Look & Read: A large yellow flashcard displays a sight word from the third 100 list (starting with the word “high”). Listen: Click or tap anywhere directly on the flashcard (or click the 🔊 Listen button) to hear the word pronounced aloud using text-to-speech.
Navigate: Click Next to move forward or Back to review previous words.
Mix It Up: Click Shuffle Deck to randomize the 100 words so the player doesn’t just memorize the sequence order.

Mode 2: Match Mode (Testing Phase)
Switch Modes: Click the Match Mode tab at the top of the interface. This resets your score to 0 and shuffles the deck.
Listen to the Prompt: The game automatically reads a word aloud. If you need to hear it again, click the purple 🔊 speaker button.
Choose the Answer: Four visual text options will appear on the grid below. Click the card that matches the word you just heard.
Instant Feedback:
If you select correctly, the card turns green and your score increases.
If you select incorrectly, the card turns red and the correct answer flashes green so you can learn from the mistake.
Progress: Click Next Word ➔ to move to the next challenge. Complete all 100 words to see your final mastery score!
