This game is split into two specialized modes designed to move students from basic recognition to active recall.

Flashcards Mode (Study & Practice)
This is your learning sandbox. Use it to get familiar with the look and sound of each word.

1. Look and Read: The word will appear in big letters right in the center of the screen.
   
2. 🔊 Listen: Click the Listen button (or tap the yellow card itself) to hear the word read aloud using clear text-to-speech.
   
3. Navigate: Click Next ▶ to go to the next word, or ◀ Back to review the previous one.
   
4. Shuffle Deck: Want a challenge? Mix up the order of the cards so you aren’t just memorizing the sequence!
   

Match Mode (Test Your Skills)
Ready to show what you’ve learned? Switch to Match Mode to play the listening game.

1. Listen to the Clue: The game will automatically play an audio clip of a sight word. If you missed it, just click the big purple 🔊 button to hear it again.
   
2. Pick the Right Card: You will see a grid of 4 spelling options. Click the card that matches the word you just heard.
   Green Flash! If you are correct, the card will turn green and your score will go up!
   Red Flash! If you are incorrect, your choice will turn red and the game will highlight the correct answer in green so you can learn from your mistake.
   
3. Keep Going: Click Next Word ➔ to move to the next challenge. See if you can get a perfect score of 100/100!
