• F (For) ➔ Shows a cause or reason (similar to “because”)
• A (And) ➔ Adds one thing or idea to another
• N (Nor) ➔ Connects two negative ideas or choices
• B (But) ➔ Highlights a contrast or exception
• O (Or) ➔ Presents a choice between options
• Y (Yet) ➔ Shows an unexpected or surprising contrast
• S (So) ➔ Indicates an effect, result, or consequence
