Equal Sharing Game
In this game, you are a master baker helping a group of hungry Critters share a batch of cookies perfectly. The goal is to make sure every Critter gets the exact same number of cookies—this is called Equal Sharing. Scroll down the page for a more detailed explanation.

How to Play the Equal Sharing Game

  1. Read the Mission
At the top of the screen, the game will tell you your goal. For example:
“Share 12 cookies equally among 3 critters."

  2. Distribute the Cookies
The Cookie Jar: All your cookies start at the bottom in the dark “Cookie Jar."
Drag and Drop: Use your mouse (or finger on a tablet) to grab a cookie and drag it onto one of the Critters.
Munching: When you drop a cookie, the Critter will animate, and the counter at their feet will increase.

  3. Balance the Groups
To win, you must move every single cookie out of the jar.
If you realize one Critter has too many, you can drag a cookie directly from one Critter to another.
You can also drag cookies back to the main jar if you want to start over.

  4. Check Your Work
Once the jar is empty, click the green CHECK button.
Success (Equal Groups): You’ll hear a happy chime and see the math equation (e.g., 12 ÷ 3 = 4). Click CONTINUE and then NEXT to go to the next problem.
Try Again (Unequal Groups): You’ll hear a “buzz” sound. The game will tell you it’s “Unfair!” because some Critters have more than others. Keep moving cookies until the numbers at the bottom of each Critter match.

The video gives a clear, step-by-step approach to learn how to share equally.
