How to Play the Compare Length Game
Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Observe the Bars: Look at the teal bar (A) and the orange bar (B). Notice where they start on the left and where they end on the right.
  2. Compare Object A to B: You are always answering the question: “How does Object A compare to Object B?"
  3. Make Your Choice: Click one of the three buttons based on what you see:
Longer: Click this if the teal bar (A) stretches further to the right than the orange bar (B).
Equal to: Click this if both bars end at the exact same spot.
Shorter: Click this if the teal bar (A) ends before the orange bar (B) does.
  4. Score Points: If you are correct, you’ll hear a happy chime, your score will go up, and new bars will appear. If you’re wrong, look closely at the ends of the bars and try again.

Tips
The “Vertical Line” Trick: If it’s hard to tell, imagine a straight line dropping down from the end of Object A. If that line cuts through Object B, A is shorter. If it misses Object B completely, A is longer.
Don’t Rush: Sometimes the bars are very close in length. Take a second to look at the “tips” of the bars before clicking.
Equal Means Exact: The “Equal to” option only works if they are perfectly matched. If one is even a tiny bit longer, it isn’t equal.
