How to Play the Game
Objective
Help Barnaby the Squirrel 🐿️ balance the scale pans and identify equivalent addition expressions by applying the Commutative Property of Addition (a + b = b + a).

Game Modes

1. Missing Twin Mode:
   Examine the target expression displaying one missing number (e.g., 8 + 5 = 5 + ?).
   Find the matching “twin” addend from the multiple-choice grid that balances both sides of the equation.
   
2. Balance Check (Equivalence Detective Mode):
   Read the displayed mathematical statement (e.g., 14 + 9 = 9 + 14 or 14 + 9 = 10 + 14).
   Click ✅ TRUE if the statement correctly demonstrates the commutative property or ❌ FALSE if the statement is incorrect or uses invalid operations (like non-commutative subtraction).
   
3. Swap Lab (Sandbox Mode):
   Enter any two custom numbers into the input boxes.
   Click “Update Scale” to see the numbers rendered on the balance scale.
   Click “🔄 Flip Left Addends!” to watch an animated visual block swap and verify that both orders yield identical sums.
   

Controls & Scoring
Score & Streak: Correct answers earn points (1 / 1, 2 / 2, etc.) and increase your consecutive streak fire multiplier.
Audio Controls: Toggle sound effects ON or OFF using the 🔊 Sound ON / 🔇 Sound OFF button in the header.
