Practice grammar and capitalization rules with Capitalization Pilot! An interactive online game where elementary students identify and fix lowercase letters in names, days, months, and sentence starters.

 

 

How to play

1. Read the Sentence: Look at the sentence displayed in the middle of the screen. Some words that should start with a capital letter are written completely in lowercase.
   

2. Check the Target Count: Look at the top prompt to see how many words in that specific sentence need fixing (e.g., “Find 2 capital letters in this sentence!”).
   

3. Tap to Fix: Click or tap directly on any word that needs a capital letter.
   If you’re right: The word instantly capitalizes, plays a sound, and shows a helpful rule tip explaining why that word needed capitalization!
   If you’re wrong: The word shakes briefly so you can try again.
   

4. Complete the Quest: Once all words in the sentence are correctly capitalized, click “Next Quest ➔” to move to the next sentence.
   

5. Track Your Stars: Finish 10 sentence cards in a round to earn stars and review your total accuracy!
