The Goal of the Game
Categorize 10 target adjectives into their correct grammar function—What Kind?, How Many / Much?, Which One?, or Compare (-er/-est)—to score maximum points and build your streak multiplier!

How to Play

1. Start the Dash: Click Start Game to draw your first card.
   

2. Analyze the Word & Context:
   Read the bold target word in the center card.
   Read the example sentence below it to see how the word functions in context (e.g., “I saw a spotted puppy.”).
   

3. Select the Correct Category: Click one of the four category buttons:
   What Kind? — Sensory, descriptive, or quality words (spotted, crunchy, gigantic).
   How Many / Much? — Quantities and numbers (twelve, several, plenty).
   Which One? — Demonstratives pointing to specific nouns (this, those).
   Compare (-er/-est) — Comparative and superlative endings (faster, smallest).
   

4. Earn Points & Build Streaks:
   Correct Answer: Earns 100 points!
   🔥 Streak Bonus: Answer 3 or more questions right in a row to activate a 2x Streak Multiplier (+200 points per correct answer!).
   Incorrect Answer: Resets your streak to 0, deducts 20 points, and reveals a clear grammatical explanation of why that card belongs in a specific category.
   

5. Move to the Next Card: Click Next Question ➔ to advance through the 10-card deck and view your final rank at the end!

4. Clear Diagnostic Feedback
   When a student picks the wrong category, the game immediately displays a concise explanation (e.g., “‘Those’ points out which specific stars”). This instantly corrects misconceptions before moving on to the next card.
