Welcome to Repeated Addition Quest Worksheet/Game. In Equal Group Addition Sentence, your mission is to match a picture of groups to the correct math equation. This game helps you see how adding the same number over and over is the secret to multiplication. Scroll down the page for a more detailed explanation.

 

 

How to Play

1. Look at the Blue Circles
   In the middle of the screen, you will see several large circles. These are your groups.
   Count the circles: This tells you how many numbers will be in your addition sentence.
   Count the items (like 🍕 or 🦖) inside ONE circle: This tells you which number you are adding.
   

2. Find the Matching Equation
   Look at the four buttons at the bottom. Each one shows a full equation, including the total (e.g., 2 + 2 + 2 = 6).
   Pick the one that matches the picture.
   If you see 3 circles with 2 items in each, you are looking for the button that adds the number 2 three times.
   

3. Listen and Learn
   If you are correct: The computer will read the whole equation out loud (e.g., “2 plus 2 plus 2 equals 6”), and your score will go up by 10 points.
   If you are incorrect: The game will remind you to check how many items are in each group so you can try again in the next round.
   

4. Keep Playing
   Click the Next Challenge ➔ button to get a brand-new set of groups and a higher score.
