How to Play

  1. Identify the Problem
Once the game starts, a random addition problem (like 4 + 10 or 10 + 7) will appear in the large center box. Your goal is to solve it as quickly as possible.

  2. Choose Your Answer
Below the problem, you will see a grid of four possible answers. Click or tap on the button you believe is correct:
Correct The button will turn indigo, and a “Power of 10” chime will play.
Try Again If the answer is wrong, the button will turn rose (red), a low tone will play, and the correct answer will be revealed in the feedback area.

  3. Track Your Accuracy
Look at the top right corner to see your Accuracy Score. This shows how many questions you’ve answered correctly out of the total number of attempts. See if you can get a perfect 10-out-of-10 streak.

  4. Move to the Next Level
After each question, a large button labeled NEXT CHALLENGE ➔ will appear. Click it to clear the board and generate a brand-new math problem.

  5. Sound Settings
If you’re practicing in a quiet area, you can use the Speaker Icon in the top right corner to mute or unmute the sound effects at any time.

The Base-10 “Place Value” Trick
When you add 10 to any single-digit number, you aren’t just doing math—you’re moving a digit.
Keep the single-digit number exactly the same.
Put a 1 in front of it (the tens place).
Example: 6 + 10
Keep the 6.
Put a 1 in front of it.
Result: 16.
