How to Play the 3D Shape Game
The game will present a geometric term for 3D shapes, and you must choose the correct definition. If you select the correct answer, it will change to green. If you select the wrong answer will be shown red and the correct answer will be shown in green.
Here’s how to play:

  1. Start: Each Quiz consists of 10 questions.
  2. Look at the Problem: You will be given a geometric term.
  3. Select Your Answer: Select the correct description. If you select the correct answer it will change to green. If you select the wrong answer, it will be shown in red and the correct answer will be shown in green.
  4. Get a New Problem: Click “Next Question” for a new problem.
    Your score is tracked, showing how many you’ve gotten right.
  5. Finish Game When you have completed 10 questions, the game will indicate your final score.
     

Description of the geometric terms
Sphere: A round 3D shape like a ball. It has no flat faces or corners.
Cube: A box shape with 6 square faces that are all the same size.
Cylinder: A shape with 2 circular flat faces and 1 curved side.
Cone: A shape with a circle base that narrows to a point.
Rectangular Prism: A box shape with 6 faces. Opposite faces are equal rectangles.
Pyramid: A shape with a square base and 4 triangular sides that meet at the top.
Face: A flat surface on a 3D shape.
Edge: The line where two faces of a 3D shape meet.
Vertex: A corner point where three or more edges meet.
3D Shape: A solid shape that has height, width, and depth. It is not flat.
