Scalar Matrix Multiplication
We can multiply a matrix with a number (also called a scalar). For scalar multiplication, we multiply each element of the matrix by the number or scalar.
Example:

Example:

Solution:
We need to consider only one equation
2k = 6
k = 3
Example :
Find the values of x and y.

Solution:
2x – 6 = 5 2x = 11 x = 5.5
4 – y = 3 y = 1
