How to find the radius from circumference of a circle?

There are two sets of radius from circumference of circle worksheets

  • Radius from circumference of circles (inches, ft, yard)
  • Radius from circumference of circles (mm, cm)

To find the radius of a circle given its circumference, you can rearrange the formula for the circumference:

C = 2πr

Solve for the radius (r):

r = C/(2π)

Where:

r is the radius of the circle.
C is the circumference of the circle.
π (pi) is a mathematical constant approximately equal to 3.14159…

Example:
Find the radius of a circle with a circumference of 50.24 units. Use 3.14 for π.
r = 50.24/(2 · 3.14) = 8 units
