There are six sets of circle worksheets:

- Circumference Worksheets
- Area of Circle Worksheets
- Area & Circumference Worksheets
- Find Radius from Circumference
- Find Radius from Area
- Find Area from Circumference or vice versa

Examples, solutions, videos, and worksheets to help grade 7 and grade 8 students learn how to find the circumference of a circle given its radius or diameter.

There are two sets of circumference of circle worksheets

- Circumferences (inches, ft, yard)
- Circumferences (mm, cm)

**Given the radius**

If you are given the radius of a circle, you can use the following formula to find the circumference of a circle:

C = 2πr

Where:

- C is the circumference of the circle.
- π (pi) is a mathematical constant approximately equal to 3.14159…
- r is the radius of the circle.

Example:

Find the circumference of a circle with a radius of 6 units. Use 3.14 for π.

C = 2πr = 2(3.14)(6) = 37.68 units

**Given the diameter**

If you know the diameter (which is twice the radius), you can also use the formula:

C = πd

Where:

- C is the circumference of the circle.
- π (pi) is the mathematical constant approximately equal to 3.14159…
- d is the diameter of the circle.

Example:

Find the circumference of a circle with a diameter of 8 units. Use 3.14 for π.

C = πd = (3.14)(8) = 37.68 = 25.12 units.
