How to evaluate numbers with fractional exponents?

There are two sets of fractional exponent worksheets:

  • Positive Fractional Exponents
  • Negative Fractional Exponents

In a fractional exponent, we need to find the root given by the denominator and raise it to the power of the numerator of the fraction.

This is a relationship between fractional exponents and radicals:
xm/n is the nth root of x and raised to the mth power.
