How to use the vertical angles property?

Vertical angles, also known as vertically opposite angles, are pairs of angles formed when two lines intersect. Vertical angles have several important properties:

• Pairs of Congruent Angles: Vertical angles are always congruent, which means they have the same measure or angle size. In mathematical terms, if ∠A and ∠B are vertical angles, then ∠A is congruent to ∠B.

• Opposite Directions: Vertical angles are always opposite each other.

The vertical angles property is often used to solve problems involving angles in geometry. It can be used to find unknown angles.
