How to Play the Parts of a Circle Game

  1. Choosing Your Difficulty
When the game starts, you have three ways to play:
Easy (Multiple Choice): You are given the definition and a visual diagram. You must click the correct term from 4 options. This is great for learning the terms for the first time.
Hard (Type it in): You must look at the diagram and type the name of the circle part (e.g., “Radius” or “Tangent”) into the text box.
Expert: Type in the answer based on the text definition alone.

  2. How to Identify the Parts
These are the parts of the circle that will be tested in this game.
Center: The point in the exact middle of the circle.
Radius: A line segment from the center to any point on the circle.
Diameter: A line segment passing through the center with endpoints on the circle.
Chord: A line segment whose endpoints both lie on the circle.
Tangent: A line that touches the circle at exactly one point.
Circumference: The distance all the way around the outside of the circle.
Arc: A part of the circumference (a curved section).
Sector: An area bounded by two radii and an arc (like a pizza slice).

  3. Scoring and Results
The Score Counter at the top tracks your progress (Correct / Total played).
