How to remember division facts?
Since multiplication and division are related operations, you can make use your knowledge of multiplication facts to help you remember the division facts.
First, revise the multiplication facts here, if necessary.
Then, use the multiplications facts to solve the division facts.
For example, consider the division fact 6 ÷ 2. To solve this problem using multiplication, we can ask the question: “What number times 2 equals 6?” The answer is 3, because 3 × 2 = 6. Therefore, 6 ÷ 2 = 3.
