How to learn and memorize the 2 times table?

  1. Understand that the 2 times table is the multiplication table for the number 2 and that multiplication is repeated addition. For example:
    1 x 2 = 2
    2 x 2 = 2 + 2 = 4
    3 x 2 = 2 + 2 + 2 = 6
  2. Memorize the 2 times table. Start by memorizing the multiplication facts:
    1 x 2 = 2
    2 x 2 = 4
    3 x 2 = 6
    4 x 2 = 8
    5 x 2 = 10
    6 x 2 = 12
    7 x 2 = 13
    8 x 2 = 16
    9 x 2 = 18
    10 x 2 = 20
  3. Practice Regularly.
