Translation Game
Game Modes for Translation Game.
Execution (Apply Warp Rule): You are given a starting point and a rule like (x+2, y-3). You must calculate the final (x, y) coordinates of the destination.
Analysis (Identify the Rule): You see a ship’s original position (ghost ship) and its new position. You must identify the specific translation rule used to move it.
Tactical (Fleet Maneuvers): Instead of a single point, you must analyze how an entire triangle (a “fleet”) moved across the grid.
Elite (Mixed Trials): A random rotation of all three modes.

Reflection Game
Game Modes for Reflection Game
Mirror Basic (Axis Mastery): You will reflect points across the x-axis (the horizontal line) or the y-axis (the vertical line).
Mirror Advanced (Diagonal Shift): You will reflect points across the diagonal line y = x.
Mirror Tactical (Fleet Mirage): You analyze an entire triangle “fleet” being reflected.

Rotation
Mission Modes
Orbital Basic: Practice single-point rotations of 90° (both clockwise and counter-clockwise).
Orbital Advanced: Focus specifically on 180° “Deep Space Flips."
Orbital Tactical: Calculate the new coordinates for an entire triangular squadron.

Function Transformations
Game Modes
Visual Mode: You see the original (gray dashed) and the transformed (neon blue) graphs and must identify the rule.
Text Mode: Asks you to translate between function notation (e.g., f(x-2)) and descriptive language (e.g., “Shift Right 2”).

Select the picture that fits the given transformation: reflection, rotation, and translation
Reflection: Find the Coordinates
Find the coordinates of the reflected point
Reflection: Graph the Image
Graph the image of a rectangle after reflection over the x-axis.
Translation: Find the coordinates
Find the image of a translated point.
Translation: Graph the Image
Graph the image of a translated rectangle.
Rotation: Find the coordinates
Find the image of a rotated point.
Dilation: Find the coordinates
Find the image of a dilated image.
Dilation: Graph the Image
Graph the image of a dilated image.

Games/Activities to Explore Transformation

Congruence by Rigid Motions
1) Is there a sequence of rigid motions that maps the blue triangle onto the red triangle?
2) Are the 2 triangles congruent?
Flip Flop
This is a reflection puzzle. The left sandal is reflected across a line drawn between two points in the grid to make a right sandal. Can you move A and B to find the line of reflection? See if you're correct by pressing the Check button.
