Welcome to Skip Count Sequence Worksheet/Game. This game requires you to figure out the hidden skip-counting rule. How to play the Skip Count Sequence Game

  1. Choose Your Mode
On the start screen, select how you want the numbers to move:
Count Up ↑: The numbers will get larger.
Count Down ↓: The numbers will get smaller.
Mixed ⇅: The game will randomly decide for each round.

  2. Decode the Pattern
Once the game starts, you will see a sequence of five numbers, but two are missing.
Look at the visible numbers: Find two numbers that are next to each other (or calculate the gap between them).
Find the “Skip” value: Determine the difference between the numbers.
Example: If you see 10, __, 20, the gap is 10 over two steps, so the skip number is 5.

  3. Fill in the Blanks
Type the missing numbers into the boxes.
Ascending: Add the skip number to the previous value.
Descending: Subtract the skip number from the previous value.

  4. Verify and Move On
Check Pattern: Click this or press Enter to see if you are right.
Correct: You’ll hear a high-pitched chime and the boxes turn green.
Incorrect: You’ll hear a low thud, and the correct answers will be revealed in red.
Next: Click this (or press Enter again) to generate a brand-new mystery pattern.
