How to play the Repeating Number Pattern Game

  1. Understand the Goal
You will be presented with a row of numbers. These numbers are a repeating “unit” (a small group of digits that repeats over and over). Your job is to identify that unit and type the digit that comes next where the “?” is.

  2. Choose Your Difficulty
At the bottom of the screen, you can select your challenge level:
    Easy: The repeating unit is only 2 digits long (e.g., 4, 7, 4, 7, 4, 7, 4, ?).
    Medium: The repeating unit is 3 digits long (e.g., 1, 8, 3, 1, 8, 3, 1, ?).
Hard (Mixed): The game will surprise you! Every round, the unit length randomly changes between 2, 3, or 4 digits.

  3. How to Input Your Answer
Look at the sequence and find the “break” where the numbers start over.
Type your answer into the center box.
Click Submit or simply press the Enter key on your keyboard.

  4. Feedback and Scoring
If you are correct: You will hear a high-pitched “ding,” the text will flash CORRECT in green, and you will earn 10 points. The game will automatically generate a new pattern after a brief moment.
If you are wrong: You will hear a low “thud,” the game box will shake, and the text will flash WRONG in red. You can try again until you get it right.
