How to plot points on the coordinate plane using ordered pairs?
Generate a ordered pairs from a given rule, and plot the points. Connect the points to form a line.

  1. The coordinate plane consists of two perpendicular number lines: the x-axis (horizontal) and the y-axis (vertical).
  2. Each point on the plane is represented by an ordered pair (x, y), where x is the distance along the x-axis and y is the distance along the y-axis.
  3. Start at the origin (0, 0) and move along the x-axis to the right for positive x-values or to the left for negative x-values.
Then, move along the y-axis upwards for positive y-values or downwards for negative y-values.
