Ordinal Numbers up to 10

Ordinal numbers are numbers that denote the position or order of an element in a sequence. They express rank or position and are often used to indicate the order of items in a list.

Here are the first few ordinal numbers:

First (1st) Second (2nd) Third (3rd) Fourth (4th) Fifth (5th) Sixth (6th) Seventh (7th) Eighth (8th) Ninth (9th) Tenth (10th)

Examples of ordinal numbers in sentences:

She finished in first place. Today is the fifth of November. It’s his tenth birthday.
