How to Play the Metric Length Estimation Game

  1. Identify the Object
Each round, a new item will appear in the center of the card (e.g., “A Ladybug” or “Mount Everest”).

  2. Choose the Best Scale
You have four buttons representing the four main metric units of length. You must click the one that makes the most sense to use in real life:
mm (Millimeter): Use this for tiny things that are thinner than a finger.
cm (Centimeter): Use this for things you can hold in your hand or measure with a school ruler.
m (Meter): Use this for things that are larger than you, like rooms, buildings, or vehicles.
km (Kilometer): Use this for long distances that usually require a car or a map.

  3. Get Feedback
Correct: The button turns green, a happy chime plays, and you get a “Hint” explaining the actual size.
Wrong: The button turns red, a low “thud” plays, and you can try again.

Mental Benchmarks Table
