How to draw a histogram with different class widths?
GCSE Maths
Step 1:
Add two more columns to the frequency table. One for class width and another for frequency density.
Step 2:
Calculate the class widths.
Step 3:
Calculate the frequency density by dividing the frequency by the class width.
Step 4:
Draw the histogram. There are no gaps between the bars. Use the class intervals to plot the width of the bars. Use the frequency density to plot the height of the bars.
