Geometry Terms Game
This game is a matching challenge designed to test your knowledge of fundamental geometric terms. It combines written definitions with visual hints to help you identify the correct terms. Scroll down the page for a more detailed explanation.

How to Play the Geometry Terms Game

  1. Read the Definition
At the top of the screen, you will see a text definition (e.g., “Lines that meet or cross at a right angle”). This is your primary clue.

  2. Look at the Visual Hint
Directly below the text is a visual representation of the term. These are simplified geometric drawings:

  3. Select the Term
Choose the correct name from the grid of 6 options below.
Correct Choice: The card turns green, you gain 10 points, and a new question appears after a short delay.
Incorrect Choice: The card shakes and turns red. You can try again immediately until you find the right one.

The Geometry Terms used in this game are:
Parallel: Lines that are always the same distance apart and never touch.
Perpendicular: Lines that meet or cross at a right angle (90°).
Acute Angle: An angle that measures less than 90 degrees.
Obtuse Angle: An angle that measures more than 90 degrees but less than 180.
Vertex: A point where two or more lines, edges, or curves meet.
Ray: A line with one start point that goes on forever in one direction.
Segment: A part of a line that is bounded by two distinct end points.
Circumference: The distance around the outside of a circle.

The video gives a clear, step-by-step approach to learn geometry terms.
