Divide Whole 10 or 100 Quiz/Game
 
To divide by whole 10: Remove a zero from the end of the numerator and denominator and then divide. For eg. 4,600 ÷ 50 = 92. To divide by whole 100: Remove two zeros from the end of the numerator and denominator and then divide. For eg. 3,600 ÷ 600 = 6. Scroll down the page for a more detailed explanation.

How to Play the Divide Whole 10 or 100 Game
This game is designed to help you practice dividing by whole 10 or 100.
Here’s how to play:

  1. Divide by: Choose one from 10, 100 or random.
  2. Timed Option: Check the timer if you want to enable the 60 second timer. Click “Start Game”.
  3. Look at the Problem: You’ll be given a multiplication problem with a multiplier of 10 or 100.
  4. Enter Your Answer: Enter in the result.
  5. Check Your Work: Click the Check button (or press the Enter key). The game will tell you if you’re correct. If you are wrong, you will be shown the correct answer.
  6. Get a New Problem: Click the Next button for a new problem.
    Your score is tracked at the top, showing how many you’ve gotten right out of the total you’ve tried.
  7. Back to Menu Click “Back to Menu” to restart the game.
     

Divide by Whole 10 or 100
For Whole Numbers
To divide by whole 10:
Add a zero to the end of the number. For example, 42 multiplied by 10 is 420.
To divide by whole 100:
Add two zeros to the end of the number. For example, 75 multiplied by 100 is 7,500.
