How to play the Calendar Worksheet/Game

  1. Starting the Game
Click the “Start Game” button to begin.

  2. Three Types of Challenges
The game randomly rotates through three different question styles:

A. Sequence: Days of the Week
The Question: You’ll be asked what day comes before or after a specific day (e.g., “What day comes AFTER Tuesday?”).
The Goal: Select the correct day from the four buttons provided.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

B. Sequence: Months of the Year
The Question: Similar to days, but with months (e.g., “What month comes BEFORE July?”).
The Goal: Pick the correct month from the list.
January, February, March, April, May , June, July, August, September, October, November, December.

C. Calendar Search
The Question: A mini-calendar for a specific month will appear. The game will ask you to find a specific date (e.g., “Click on October 14th”). The Goal: Click the number on the calendar grid that matches the date requested.

  1. Scoring and Feedback
Correct Answer: You get 10 points, your Streak goes up by 1, and you’ll hear a happy “ding” sound. The next question loads automatically after a short pause.

Incorrect Answer: Your Streak resets to 0, you’ll hear a low “bonk” sound, and the game will show you the correct answer so you can learn for next time.

  1. Tips for Winning
Watch the Ordinals: In the Calendar Search, look for the suffix (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th).
Think in Loops: Remember that the “after” for Saturday is Sunday, and the “after” for December is January!
Speed: There is no timer, so take your time to read the question carefully before clicking.
