The English f sound and v sound are created by lightly touching the inside of the bottom lip to the top front teeth. Overproducing these sounds by curling the bottom lip under the top front teeth makes it difficult to transition to and from these sounds. In addition, ESL and ELL trouble pronouncing the v sound and w sound is discussed.
