Round 4-digit Numbers to the nearest 100 Worksheets

In these Third Grade math worksheets, students practice how to round 4-digit numbers to the nearest 100.

How to round to the nearest 100?
When rounding a 4-digit number to the nearest 100, look at the tens digit.
If the tens digit is 5 or more, round up by increasing the hundreds digit by 1. If the hundreds digit is a 9 then change it to a zero and increase the thousands digit by 1.
If the tens digit is 4 or less, round down by not changing the hundreds digit.
Change the tens and units digits to 0.
