Here are more physics formulas across various areas of physics:

Mechanics

1. Kinematics
  • Displacement (d) = \( \Delta x = x_f - x_i \)
  • Average Velocity (\( \bar{v} \)) = \( \frac{\Delta x}{\Delta t} \)
  • Average Acceleration (\( \bar{a} \)) = \( \frac{\Delta v}{\Delta t} \)
  • Final Velocity (\(v_f\)) = \(v_i + \bar{a} \Delta t\)
2. Dynamics
  • Newton's Second Law \( F \) = \( ma \)
  • Weight (\( W \)) = \( mg \)
  • Frictional Force (\( f_{friction} \)) = \( \mu N \)
3. Circular Motion
  • Centripetal Acceleration \( a_c \) = \( \frac{v^2}{ r} \)
  • Centripetal Force \( F_c \) = \( \frac{ mv^2}{ r} \)

Energy

1. Work and Energy
  • Work (\(W\)) = \( F \cdot d \) = \( \Delta KE \)
  • Kinetic Energy (\(KE\)) = \( \frac{1}{2}mv^2 \)
  • Gravitational Potential Energy (\(PE_{\text{gravity}}\)) = \( mgh \)
  • Elastic Potential Energy (\(PE_{\text{elastic}}\)) = \( \frac{1}{2}kx^2 \)

Thermodynamics

  • First Law of Thermodynamics: \( \Delta U = Q - W \)
  • Ideal Gas Law: \( PV = nRT \)
