Things to Remember about Ending Blends:
- You can hear each sound: When you pronounce words with blends, you should be able to distinguish each of the consonant sounds. For example, in the word “hand,” you can hear both the /n/ and /d/ sounds.
- They are at the end of words: This is what makes them “ending” blends.
- Practice is key: The best way to learn these blends is to practice reading and saying words that contain them.
