What is an Interjection?
An interjection is an exclamatory word that expresses emotion. It is not grammatically connected to the rest of the sentence.
Interjections are usually followed by an exclamation point. Sometimes when the exclamation is mild, the interjection may be followed by a comma.
Examples:
Wow! That is amazing.
